Christmas at Birches Valley Forest Centre

Also on site we have a forest adventure play area and Santa's magical woodland grotto for you to experience. Great War Weekend
		A free event to coincide with Anzac Day. Learn about the cruical role played by Cannock Chase in the Great War. Experience life as a soldier training on the Chase in a genuine barrack. Experts will be on hand providing information and to answer your questions. Date: Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April - Time: 10.00am to 4.00pm Meet: Cannock Chase Visitor Centre, Marquis Drive, Hednesford
Nature Day
		This event will take place in the John O'Leary Centre and is part of the national 'Discovering Places' initiative for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad and includes activities such as pond dipping, bug hunts, mask making and much more. The Great War Trail

Shugborough Events 2010

Classic Car & Transport Show
Date: Time: Cost:	15 August 10:00am to 5:00pm Adult / Concession £6.50, Child £3.00, Under 5's Free	A day of motoring nostalgia for the whole family. Back at Shugborough after a nine year break this popular event will feature over 800 vehicles dating back to the 1920's with vintage and classic cars, sports cars, American and kit cars, club stands, motorbikes, commercial vehicles and the popular auto jumble and trade area.
Movie Nights
Date: Time: Cost:	20/21 August Gates open at 6:30pm £7.50	August 20th - Mamma Mia (PG) & August 21st Rocky Horror Picture Show (15) Thousands of picnickers will dance the summer evening away as they watch iconic blockbuster movies played on a giant screen in front of the mansion house. There are gazebo spaces available and picnic hampers can be pre-ordered. The event will be complimented by licensed bars and catering outlets.
Halloween Spooktacular

Christmas Candlelit Evenings
Date: Time: Cost:	1-4 December 5:00pm to 9.00pm Adult £12.00, Concession £9.50, Child £7.00 Family(2A+3C) £30.00 Family (1A+1C) £15.00 - discount for advance bookings	The estate is transformed into a magical winter wonderland as the Mansion House and Servants quarters are candlelit and decorated with real fl owers, holly and traditional trimmings. Costumed characters will tell the story of Christmases past plus there will be brass bands, carol singers, fun fair, snow showers, entertainers and a large gift and food marquee.
