Originally built in the late 1800's the home of the old Lucas Lighting Industries in Hednesford town centre has been transformed into a modern state of the art niche shopping centre with apartments above. With an art deco feel it is well worth a visit as is the rest of the town centre which is the 'Gateway to the Chase'. Hednesford also hosts the
Museum of Cannock Chase, which boasts a dedicated display to the area’s
mining heritage and is home to the Visitor Information Point, providing
advice and literature to ensure visitors get the most out of their stay
in the area. |

the town centre, major retail chains mix with the small friendly locally-owned
shops. The Trent and Mersey
