Would you like help or advice about claiming housing benefit and / or local council tax reduction? If you are housebound or perhaps work full time and cannot get to our offices, we operate an evening visiting service and can visit you in your own home.

Our visiting officers can schedule visits between 9am and 8pm Monday to Friday and can help you make a new claim, provide evidence in relation to an existing claim and provide guidance on any other welfare benefits you may be entitled to.

The service is completely confidential and visits will be arranged to suit you.

Step 1- if you want to make a new claim for benefit, use the on line calculator to see whether you will qualify. Remember this is only an estimate based on the information you provide.

Step 2- if you now want to make a new claim or perhaps have been asked to provide additional information in relation to an existing claim, complete our on line visit request  https://www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/residents/benefits/benefit-line-access

Step 3- once you have provided all the details required on the form, submit it. The form will automatically be sent to our Benefit Service.
