Problems Paying your Council Tax
Difficulty in paying
If you are having difficulties making your payments, the first thing you should do is contact the Council. You can either ring the Council Tax Helpline Number 01543 464285 or visit one of the Council offices (see below) where Counter services staff will be pleased to assist you or email counciltax@cannockchasedc.gov.uk
We maybe able to rearrange your instalments to make them more manageable or advise you if you may be entitled to any reduction in your bill.
You may also be entitled to Local Council Tax Reduction or Second adult rebate.

If you are having problems paying debts to companies outside the Council there is help and advice available to you at the Citizens Advice Bureau (see below).
